Box cameras ...
They may not be high-tech
but squirrels havn't even
mastered pants yet!

Lewis signed out this Brownie "0" from the A.C.O.R.N. Club camera loan program.

In 1900 George Eastman started to market a
simple box camera called the "Kodak Brownie"

The small Brownie only cost a dollar when most
other cameras were bulky, complicated and way
out of the price range of the average person.

To show how simple the Brownie cameras were,
their slogan was "You press the button, we do the rest."
